Desireé Rowe (Ph. D. Arizona State University 2009) is an Assistant Professor of Communication Studies at USC Upstate.
Desiree teaches courses such as Research Methods, Senior Seminar, and Communication and Social Change. Her research interests include feminist performances of activism and performative writing. Her work has appeared in Text and Performance Quarterly, Qualitative Inquiry, and Cultural Studies <-> Critical Methodologies.
She spends her time reading biographies of infamous women, working on her cross stitching skills, and hanging out with her partner Paul and her daughter Penelope.
