W. Benjamin Myers (Ph. D. Southern Illinois University 2007) is an Assistant Professor of Communication Studies at USC Upstate.Ben teaches courses such as Theories and Principles of Human Communication, Performing Identity, and Organizational Communication. His research interests are the performance of identity, surveillance studies, and religious discourse.

Ben enjoys watching the Pittsburg Steelers or making fun of those who don’t. He mostly hangs out with his partner, Abby, and his son Henry.
